Club Notes, 12 Sept 2016

A great win in the Division 3 hurling league game on Saturday evening in Ballycullen with everyone playing their part in the performance.

A win for the second team also in their league game  v Erins Isle which went ahead on Sunday afternoon in Clontarf.

The Ladies lost out in the football Cup semi final last week and it's back to league fixtures this week with a game on Wed evening.

Adult football league games are set for next weekend and support is very welcome for all Club games.

A very busy morning on Saturday as we hosted an Under 8 hurling blitz which was brilliantly organised by Sean and the team.  The players enjoyed three games each as well as the goodie bags and medals.

The Nursery returned on Saturday and continues at 10am every week in our enclosed grounds on Clontarf Road.  The coaching coordinators hosted an information and planning session for the year ahead in the Clubhouse to keep the parents informed and up to date on developments. New players are always welcome too.

The performances of the Minor footballers, Under 16 Girls and Under 15 boys secured three wins on Sunday morning.
We had a great night at the special party in the Club on Saturday evening for our former GPO Joanne Courtney who has started her new teaching career. Great speeches and banter from the crowd as along with a presentation on the night.

A reminder that the Ticket draw for the All Ireland Football final tickets allocated to the Club will take place in the Clubhouse on Thursday 15 Sept at 10pm.  All fully paid adult members in attendance are eligible to participate for a chance to purchase a ticket.

Club 'Eve of All Ireland' social takes place in the Club on Saturday evening and the Club is open on Sunday so everyone can drop in after the game for some post match analysis. Up the Dubs!
