Club Notes 23 Feb 2016

The weather is still impacting on fixtures with some games called off at the weekend. Despite the weather we had some great team performances at the weekend. Team of the week are our Under 15s who had a great 2nd half on Sunday to secure the win in some very challenging conditions.  Adult football league fixtures for 2016 commence next Sunday with games at 10.30am, 12 noon and 2pm.  Training continues every Monday and Thursday throughout the year. Best wishes to all the players and management for the new season.
A big thank you to everyone who sold and bought tickets in the GAA National Club Draw as we had another great response making it a very successful three-in-a-row for the Club.  Support is greatly appreciated for this important fund raiser for Club activities and our teams.  Details of our Fun Easter Camps are now available and information is included on the website and on Facebook. Week one 21st-24th March from 9am-3pm is a multi activity camp with something for everyone who participates.  Week two of the Easter Holidays includes a 3 day Hurling Camp from 29th-31st March.  All are welcome to take part and contact our Club GPO Joanne Courtney at 087 9146748 for more information and to book a place.  Congratulation to Ellen Keane who is featuring in the new Allianz campaign as she prepares for Rio 2016.
