Club Notes

All roads lead to Parnell Park this Saturday for the Junior A Hurling Championship final v Cuala at 5.30pm.  We'd love to see as many supporters as possible at the game.  The Clubhouse will be open after the game and everyone is welcome to drop in.

The Intermediate Football Championship quarter final has been rescheduled to Saturday 19th September, also in Parnell Park.

Great performance by both the Dublin Ladies and Men in their All Ireland Semi Finals at the weekend.  Looking forward to the run in to the finals and the build up over the next few weeks. A big thank you to Kieran and Neil in the Clubhouse and Andrea and Ronan on the BBQ for looking after everyone on Saturday evening.

Team of the week are the Under 14 girls who continued their winning ways in the championship with a comprehensive win on Friday evening.  Well done also the Minors who won an excellent game v Skerries Harps in their championship.  Great performances by the Under 8s, 9s, 10s and 11s on Saturday morning in their football games.  This was followed by a fantastic win in the Under 16 Hurling B championship on Saturday afternoon as the team secured a place in the semi final on Saturday 19th September.

We are hosting a Charity Bake Sale, next Saturday 12th September from 10.30am to 1pm in aid of the Kate Carmody Benefit Fund.  Everyone is welcome to drop in and enjoy the goodies!

The draw for All Ireland Hurling final tickets took place in the Clubhouse on Thursday evening and was well attended.  Just a reminder that the draw for tickets for the All Ireland Football final will take place on Thursday 17th September.  As always, the draw is open to Adult Members who are up to date on their Club subscription and are in attendance on the night.
