Club Notes 14 Sep 2015

While we lost out in the Junior A Hurling Championship final on Saturday evening, the team have qualified for next year's Intermediate Championship and the Leinster Club Championship.  Congratulations to Cuala on their win and thanks to all the supporters who made it to Parnell Park.  The Intermediate Football Championship quarter final on next Saturday 19th September has been switched to O'Toole Park at 4pm.  The Under 8s hosted a hurling blitz on Saturday morning and there was great skill on show from all the teams involved.  All the players enjoyed their medals and especially their 'goodies' after the games. Good performances by both the Under 14 and 16 boys on Saturday afternoon to win their league games.  Great performances by the Under 10 and 12 Girls in their games last week.  The Nursery / Naoinra was busy on Saturday morning as we enjoyed excellent weather conditions and fun / games.

The build up to the All Ireland Football Final is well underway as is the excitement for the Dublin v Kerry game.  The draw for Members to obtain a final ticket takes place in the Clubhouse on Thursday evening. As always, the draw is open to Adult Members who are up to date on their Club subscription and are in attendance on the night. Details of the eligibility criteria can be found on the website.  Entries for the 100 Squares draw in aid of the Juvenile Section can be picked up on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening in the Club.  We are also holding a 'Best Decorated Home' competition this week and entries close on Thursday evening at 7pm.
