Club Notes - 8th June 2015

Intermediate Championship - Scoil Uí Chonaill 2-13 Cuala 0-8

Junior D Championship - St Peregrines 1-03  Scoil Uí Chonaill 4-30

Very successful weekend for the adult footballers with wins in both championship games.  On Friday, it was a win v Cuala in the Intermediate Championship game in O'Toole Park. Then on Sunday the Juniors won their game v St. Peregrines in Hartstown.  The Ladies lost out in their very close game on Wednesday evening by two points and next play Cuala in the Cup on Wed 10th.

Next weekend sees hurling championship fixtures in Clontarf starting on Saturday 13th at 6.30pm v Naomh Fionnbarra followed on Sunday with the visit of O'Tooles at 3pm.  Well done to the Under 10 Girls on their great win on Saturday afternoon and best wishes as they head to the Leinster Blitz on Saturday in Naas.  Next Saturday we host four clubs in the Dublin Under 10 Hurling Blitz at 10am.  Support very welcome for all games.

Great coverage of our 'Punching above your weight' event in Croke Park with Gary Keegan in last week's Evening Herald.

Summer camp dates are now available starting with the Cúl Camp for 6-12 year olds from 6-10th July. Training for Under 8s-11s continues every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7pm.

First Aid / Defibrillator training course in the Club on Saturday next from 12.30pm (places limited).  Contact Brian Fahy at 086 6043945 with all enquiries.

Best wishes to members, and their families, who continue their Leaving and Junior Certificate exams. Special mention for Caoimhin MacCarthaigh who is undertaking his exams having broken his leg.  Good wishes to the Kelly family on the arrival of baby brother Tiarnán.
