Club Notes 27th Oct 2015

  • A good performance in the Leinster Hurling Championship on Sunday afternoon secured a win over Moorefield from Kildare.  Great hospitality in the Clubhouse after the game which was enjoyed by both visiting and home supporters.  Next game is set for 8th November at 2pm v Glenmore, Kilkenny with the details of the venue to be confirmed.  
  • It's back to hurling league games tonight with a trip to 12th Lock to play Lucan Sarsfield at 7.30pm in the Division 4 league.
  • Then on Thursday, the final game in the 2015 Division 2 football league is in Bohernabreena v St Annes at 8.15pm.  
  • On Sunday 1st November, the AFL8 team play St Finian's in Swords at 11am.  
  • Also on Sunday, the Under 14 Girls play their Championship final v Round Towers, Lusk - details to be confirmed.

Support very welcome for all games! 

  • Great fun in the Club last Saturday morning as over 120 of our youngest members played a football Blitz between 10am and 12 noon to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend.  Well done to the Mentors who organised the Blitz and to our Under 16s who supported the games.  
  • A GAA Halloween Camp for 4-12 year olds takes place in the Club from Wed 28th-Fri 30th Oct, starting at 10am.  Full details are available on the website and from Team Mentors as well as our Club GPO Joanne Courtney.  
  • Training continues every Monday and Thursday for adults and Tuesday and Wednesday for Under 8s to 12 in Clontarf Road, 7-8pm.
  • Club shop open on Saturday morning between 10am and 12 noon for all your GAA gear.
  • Congratulations to adult football Johnny Boden and his wife Anne Marie on the birth of their baby daughter.
